Introduction :
Lahore is said to be "The city of Gardens". A Historical city with immense culture, tradition and customs, claims to have the first Cricket stadium with Flood lights. Gaddafi stadium has the honor of hosting the World Cup '96 final, which was watched by over 60,000 spectators.

The Gaddafi Stadium is the HQ of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). No other cricket ground in the world matches the spaciousness of the playing area of Gaddafi Stadium - it has the largest green field. The pitch is normally slow, helpful to spinners and occasionally green enough for seamers to enjoy it. Over 57 percent of drawn games played here, is proof enough of this drab characteristic. It is, therefore, not misleading to say that the Gaddafi is a batsman's paradise.
